PAINTING DAYS AT HADDON HALL,  BAKEWELL, DERBYSHIRE

WEDNESDAYS MAY 3, JULY 5, SEPTEMBER 6 2017

On these dates we can paint in the lovely gardens of Haddon Hall, nr Bakewell. Tim Rose will work alongside participants, teaching and offering advice. The gardens at Haddon are quite special and one is never short of subjects in this medieval country house.

Cost £35 (includes entrance fee)  10am -5pm

WATERCOLOUR WEEKEND AT INGLEBY GALLERY, MELBOURNE, DERBYSHIRE
26 - 27 AUGUST 2017

A weekend painting in the gallery and gardens at Ingleby, Derbys. Subjects include landscape, skies, flowers and more. Tim Rose will have a teaching programme which includes demonstrations, colour mixing and basic composition. These weekends are very popular and have been running for over 15 years.

‘My teaching approach is based on using a limited palette of colours, tonal values and compositional shapes. I encourage students to find their own style using tried and tested watercolour techniques. (My courses are not suitable for absolute beginners)’

 TIM ROSE is a professional painter who works mostly in watercolour and paints subjects which range from architectural studies to country house gardens.

He is an experienced teacher and demonstrator and has exhibited widely, including both the Royal Institute of Watercolourists and the Royal Society of Watercolourists at their open shows.
